🎃 The Cradle: Trick-or-Treat is out. It’s free and plays right here in your browser, on PC or on your phone.

A children’s Halloween party at the Swallow sanatorium. The table is set, but there aren’t enough sweets. Twenty doors line the corridor. Knock.

Behind some of them, a child gives you a sweet. Behind the others, Nanny opens, and you’re in the dark labyrinth with her right behind you. Find the orange light and her striped sweet is yours. If she catches you, she takes every sweet you’re carrying.

New since the teaser

Playtests showed the labyrinth was too dark and too unforgiving, so:

• 🔦 A bigger torch, wider and longer, and wider still on phones, plus a little light in the passages.
• 🚪 Wardrobes and lockers in every dead end. Slip in where she can’t see you and hold your breath: she’ll come, listen at the door… and walk away. Just don’t let her see you get in.
• 🍬 Gentler early levels: a longer head start and a slower Nanny on levels 1 to 3. Levels 4 and 5 are still hardcore.

Made from what we already had. This is a small Halloween side game, not a new episode. Almost everything in it comes from The Cradle: Episode 01: the rooms, the props, the children, Nanny, the sounds and the music, even the pumpkins and paper bats. You don’t need to have played Episode 01.
