Your privacy.

This policy describes how Encrypted Cat Games (Encrypted Cat / 0xKOT) handles information through this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact encrypted.cat53@gmail.com.

Scope

This policy covers the studio website, contact pages, website analytics, and links used here. Games running on itch.io are also subject to itch.io’s privacy policy and the game’s own data practices.

gobnative browser storage

The gobnative player reads installers and game files you select locally. It stores imported games, saves, settings, and any optional HD packs in this browser’s IndexedDB storage. These files are not uploaded to us. Clearing this website’s data removes that local storage; browsers may also clear it automatically. Website analytics do not read these files.

Contact and support messages

If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, game selection, topic, and any information you choose to share. We use this information to reply, troubleshoot issues, and manage the enquiry. Please do not send passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal data.

The contact form currently prepares an email draft locally and opens your email app, with a fallback link if it does not open. The website does not upload your draft. Sending it from your email app delivers it to our Gmail inbox under your email provider’s practices.

We keep enquiry information while it is needed to respond and follow up. You can request deletion by contacting us; some information may need to be retained to meet legal obligations.

Hosting

This static website is hosted through GitHub Pages. GitHub may process connection information, including IP addresses, for security and service operation. See GitHub’s privacy statement .

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is enabled on this website and loads automatically when you visit. Previously saved opt-out choices are respected.

When enabled, Google Analytics measures page visits and usage, including browser and device information. It may store analytics cookies. Advertising features are disabled in our configuration, and contact form contents are not sent as analytics events. See Google’s privacy policy .

Third-party content and links

Game links open itch.io in a new tab. We do not embed itch.io widgets or load its content on this website. When you visit itch.io, its own data practices apply under itch.io’s privacy policy . Devlog images are hosted with this site. Video links and community links open external services; their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Local storage and cookies

Google Analytics may store first-party cookies to measure visits. We respect opt-out choices previously saved in your browser. This website does not use an account system. Your browser settings let you block or clear cookies and locally stored preferences.

Your requests

You can ask about information you have sent us, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern by emailing encrypted.cat53@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.

Policy updates

We will update this page when website services or data practices change. Native game disclosures will identify the relevant game and describe its actual data practices before App Store release.
