Patch 2: painted doors, toys on the step, and a child who lies

🎃 Patch 2 is out, and the doors have more to say.
Every level teaches something new
The clues on the doors now arrive one level at a time, so the game starts simple and keeps surprising you:
- Level 1: just the lantern and the decoration over the door. Easy.
- Level 2: sweets on the step.
- Level 3: 🎨 painted doors. Blue, brown or white, and the colours change every game.
- Level 4: 🧸 toys on the threshold: a rubber duck, a pioneer drum, a roly-poly doll.
- Level 5: everything at once, and the bulbs are failing.
Each level’s card tells you what’s new.
The children talk now
From level 3, some children whisper what they’ve heard about Nanny when they hand you a sweet. Listen carefully, because they don’t repeat themselves.
And from level 4, one child lies. Their hint sounds just like the others. If something feels off, step into their room and have a look around… 👀
A fresh coat of paint
The sanatorium’s 20 children’s rooms are no longer all the same. They have wallpaper, tiles, parquet and linoleum, wall carpets, wired radios, tear-off calendars, a piano, a pram and a sled. The corridor got a worn runner and a notice board, and every landmark in the labyrinth now has its own look, so you’ll know the washroom from the boiler room even mid-chase.
Smaller fixes
- Clues at the far end of the corridor no longer fade into black.
- The children’s drawings are bigger, so they’re easier to read.
